
Reunion 2010 is only 12 weeks away! If you wish to be part of this reunion and have not yet registered, you must act NOW!
A format based on previous reunions has again been adopted. Your committee have selected the venues and are doing the necessary organising, however you the members must make the commitment. We ask you to demonstrate that commitment be completing the form and making payments as soon as possible. The program organised is listed below.

We realise of course that if you commit now, between now and the reunion your circumstances may change. The following refund policy will apply.
- A full refund, less credit card surcharge if applicable, will be given for cancellations up to 30 days prior to the first event.
- Refunds from 30 days out to the first activity will exclude credit card surcharge if applicable and any other expenditure which the committee has promised or incurred on your behalf. (e.g. We are required to give final numbers to venues prior to events).
- There are generally late comers to events. If you must cancel at the last minute, we will try to resell your tickets on your behalf and you will the receive your refund less any surcharge if applicable.
We trust that you will find the refund policy fair and equitable so ask you to play your part and book your presence now. Our administrative burden is eased by being able to process your returns and payments as early as possible.
Reunion 2010 will incorporate the use of ID lanyards and pre-issued pre-paid tickets for all events. This approach was used with great success in Melbourne.
As you review the details of what Reunion 2010 offers, please keep in mind that we have asked for pricing based on 2010 circumstances. Your committee feels comfortable with what has been offered and feel sure you’ll get value for your money You should also note that the Battalion has been warned out for deployment and will be unable to assist with their normal hospitality.
This reunion will celebrate the 45th birthday of 6 RAR and we will invite the battalion rear echelon and their families to join us at the Memorial Service and Spit Roast on Sunday 6th June.

Accommodation Offer from Mike Angell:
I work for the Riverside Hotel South Bank in South Brisbane.
Riverside is a 4 star hotel and has a mixture of Hotel rooms and 1 bedroom apartments
With the 2010 reunion having their dinner at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on the Saturday 5th, Riverside Hotel is only 500 metres away and about 7 minutes walk.
It is also centrally located to South Brisbane Train Station, Cultural centre bus stop. The Broncos Club for the Friday night is about 10-15 drive away.
I have been able to offer the following rates for this weekend
Hotel rooms, single / twin /double at $109 per night
1 bedroom self contained apartments sleeping 1-2 people is $149, there is a fold out double sofa couch bed which can sleep 1 or 2 people which is $50 ( so 2 couples could stay for $199)
Car parking at this stage is free
A full hot buffet breakfast is currently $22 per person
